as "barely" described but not what i was expecting
it is actually a cheap plastic clam shell box with thin aluminum pieces attached to the outside.
it's bulky and not something that is comfortable to carry in your pants pocket, about like an Altoids tin.
there is some question as to if it even works, some tester reviews indicate an RF leakage issue that could compromise the function, security effectiveness. in reviews a simple aluminum foil wrapper worked better at shielding from scanners.
(there is not complete metal coverage, the black you can see in the photo is the exposed edges of the plastic internal box through which your cards could still be scanned.
the latch is adequate
internally the "wallet" just has a springy plastic accordion slot system to loosely hold your cards, there are only 6 slots but they are each lose enough to hold several cards
the final nail in my review was that i came across the exact same wallet in a discount store for $2.00 (reg price not on sale)
ultimately i have not used mine since the first day i got it, i ended up crafting an aluminum foil and clear packing tape covered card envelope which tested 100% effective at blocking RF scanners (this wallet failed to do so)
