Easy to fix a common problem with these Sound Machines, read on!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich All complaints about this Sound Machine could be cured simply by changing the CR2032 size backup battery (item #15 in User Manual) located in the bottom of the battery compartment. There is a small button cell battery that keeps the time and settings when the unit is unplugged, and when this battery goes bad, the unit will do all kinds of crazy things. Make sure item #16 in the User Manual, the lockout tab for the backup battery has been removed also. In the unit I purchased, the tab was still intact, meaning the battery never made contact and was never used at all! Look inside the compartment and you will see a small screw that must be removed in order to access the battery. Change it if necessary, and be sure to press the very, very tiny "reset" button (item #14 in User Manual) that is also located under the main battery cover, and the unit will be good for several years before you need to change this battery again. The symptom of scrambled or missing digits on the display, not turning on, and other assorted problems are solved with this simple fix. I hope this helps someone out there on the fence about buying this Sound Machine. If you do an internet search, you can find a free copy of the User Manual and download it.
