To start. This k726 kit puts the fuel and throttle on the opposite side from the factory so that creates fun itself. The carb also came with a 3/16 " fuel inlet and the 87 civic has 1/4" line from pump. Would have been cool for this " factory replacement " to get it correct. The paper gaskets seam to be junk but we'll see. IF YOU HAVE A SOLID CABLE END DONT CUT IT OFF TO FIT THE JUNK THROTTLE SWIVEL. it appears weber has the exact throttle arm needed to utilize the factory cable end but not that is not included in this "factory replacement ". Also. Do all of the research you can, do not count on any product support from redline, if they even answer the phone. Wire connection for choke was not included either. All in all. The carb itself seams fine. Was sold as a dgev but was stamped dgav on the body but does have electric choke so that should be ok. Good luck
