May fafourite phone so far - but the slide-out keyboard could have been better designed.
I have tried various phones with slide out qwerty keyboards, and this is my favourite so far. However, it is not perfect, for my tastes. I preferred the physical keyboard and the physical design of the old Nokia E90. The 'Z' hinge mechanism on the Disire Z is more of a gimmick than a sensible design. It doesn't open as easy as the Nokia E90, and doesn't benefit from the unlimited tilt-ability of the Nokia E90. However, the rest of the Desire Z works very well. However, battery life is short. I have to recharge it every day, even if it's only in standby mode most of the time.
