Overly impressed
I am working on building a 1/24 scale Sinclair service station as part of a larger diorama. I chose Sinclair mainly because I wanted something that when those that remembered would see it and have memories of such things when they were younger. I worked at an Exxon station when I was 15 and originally was basing my layout on what I remembered from that particular station. The Anco case was just one item I recalled.
Before seeing this example, I had thoughts of making my own, but to get all the detailed decals and such, there was no way I could duplicate one to the degree and great quality this one is. For the cost and what you get, I didn't have the patience to duplicate it, either. I can't wait to get my station built with all the wonderful things I have been fortunate to find while staying in the 1950s -60s date range. What started out as a 1964 car year cut of has not been extended to 1970.
Should anyone reading this know of where I might be able to find one, I need a garage lift that is the round tube style with the four adjustable arms that reach out to the car frame. I have a lift that has the two side lifts, but that is too modern for my project. Joe's Power Plus service station has a lift that is similar and I may end up building mine like that with the center tube and two beams. There was one from an accessory make Chris Scale but the owner had health issues and closed his business. I was blessed to get what I did from that seller, but I just missed the lift.
Back to this product. I don't think you will regret it. Nice addition to any diorama.

Read the review about this item. I was shipped the wrong one.
I have a walker and to be a bit unique, I wanted head and tail lights on it. The one you see pictured with this review is NOT the Meteor 350. It is the Bell Meteor 550 with dual or twin lights in each assembly. the 350 only has one LED light in it. I already have one set and wanted another to balance out my walker. I couldn't find them at WalMarts anymore and ordered these through Toys R Us. The info is for the 350 while the add photo is of the 550. I found the 550 through Sears online.
I am completely happy with the 550. Just not happy with how Toys R Us' ad is deceiving.

I am working on a service station diorama. I worked at a station when I was a teen and remember the water hose outside on one wall.
