Awesome tripod head!
The Gitzo G2180 head is as expected and described. I can lock the scan and tilt individually. It was exactly what I needed to complete my bird watching equipment. I have it mounted on the Gitzo GT1545T tripod with my Leica Televid 77 spotting scope. The setup is very lightweight but sturdy.

Light weight with quick setup!
I love the weight of the tripod, super light. I have put a Manfrotto Befree head weighing in at 0.8# on it keeping the setup light for this 63 year old woman. It works great with my Leica Televid 77 scope for bird watching. I can hike to the shore easier than my old setup. It’s still sturdy in the wind. If I had a complaint it would be about my setup. I can’t seem to keep the head tight on the tripod.
