excellent value
Compact, light weight and enough power to do most hammer drilling tasks. Next size up from this would be for really tough, demanding work, so this little gem does the bulk of what I typically need to do.

Makita circular saw rip fence/guide
It's a simple accessory that enables the user to easily rip materials of consistent widths up to around 6 or so inches. I have one for each of my three different saws and do not rip material every day, but when I do, I prefer Dois Equis, wait. No, I mean my rip fences.

Problem solver
There isn't much else you can do if you need to cut threaded pipe and can not use a threaded union. The gas pipe came up through a concrete floor and the into a masonry wall. I needed to replace the 90 with a tee and it would have been impractical to pull replace the cut pipe and there was no room for a pipe threading die. It was a struggle to sleeve the compression union/coupling over the pipe just below the new tee, but it was better than any other option. Great product.
