From Hell
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Well they say the Devil has all the best music and judging from this Glenn Danzig must be Lucifer in human form. There isn't a bad song on here and Danzig's vocals are one of the lost treasures of rock. Though patchy in his later career, Lucifuge stands up against anything in any genre. Simply superb.

You'd think they'd have learned by now!
As a big fan of the Friday the 13th franchise, I was dubious about this entry - mainly because it's set in the future, and in space, and it just felt like they were going to take the p*ss. However, they've actually done a really good job. Kane Hodder reprises the role of Jason and proves to be as menacing as ever. There's the requisite amount of gore and sexual hijinks. What i really liked however was the attempt to draw the series together and make some sense out of what had gone before. After Part 8, which was frankly ridiculous even by this fan's standards, it didn't really leave a lot of space to go and number 9 really just seemed like a forerunner to the Freddy vs Jason movie which followed it. Jason X at least recognises Jason's miraculous ability to regenerate and keep. coming. back and doesn't simply brush past it and take it as a given. Overall it's just a good, fun horror romp and I don't think fans of previous Friday the 13th movies should be disappointed with it. My sincere wish though is that the next one they do continues along the road the 2009 re-boot started along.
