Cyclamatic Power Plus CX1 eBike Electric Mountain Bike

Great value electric assist mountain bike

I previously owned an Ancheer Electric mountain bike that was stolen off of my patio. That particular bike had an all-electric function; the Cyclamatic is strictly electric assist which is fine being as I never used the full auto electric mode anyway; drained the battery & didn't have the fun of peddling with that little push from electric assist. I would say the Cyclamatic Power Plus is very comparable with the Ancheer (which I'm still in love with & heart-broken that it was stolen) with the caveat that it's a lot heavier being an all-steel frame (Ancheer was aluminum alloy) & Cyclamatic has a quick-release front wheel. Cyclamatic assembly manual was absolutely useless; Ancheer actually has a video link for assembly. Clyclamatic's removable battery is massive, a bit cumbersome (it's a 10ah compared to the Ancheer 8ah). Bottom line, I like the Cyclamatic, like that it's electric assist forcing me to do some work (like I mentioned, I love the feel of that 250 watt motor helping along;} still miss my lighter sleeker-looking black Ancheer. For 600 dollars in today's market, you can't go wrong.One more item worth mentioning, the Kenda tires are a real good value thrown in. Don't forget, for 600 dollars you have an all-terrain mountain bike with electric assist.

Terrible instructions

The instructions are terrible and the mounting post has to nearly touch the magnet to get a reading. The time function is impossible to set.

Cannot empty liquid to change fluid

I'm so disappointed in this unit because of the fact that you can't empty the liquid if you want to change flavors or (in my case) you bought to strong of a nic strength. I was so excited to try the product that I totally overlooked that. It comes with a little built in cartridge unit where you insert the coil head and drip the liquid. Once you completely fill it, you're stuck with that liqiuid unless you go through the labor of extracting the liquid with an eyedrop syringe. Also, they say this is leak proof-it's not. I went through the entire day smelling of vanilla because the cartridge where the coil head is inserted leaked. Light weight? it's not. It's bulky and cumbersome in your front pocket-can't even imagine keeping it in my shirt pocket. I don't understand all the rave youtube reviews that led me to buy this thing. For the price of this thing, it should be more user friendly. I'm sure there are other units out there that outperform this thing. If the coils last, I'll have some recompense.
