Exactly what I was looking for
I used this in my old truck instead of buying a head unit that would have cost way more. If you're going to be connecting via smartphone with bluetooth, this is all you need. I'm y-splitting two channels of the JL MBT-RX to make four(RCA). Two channels connect into my Alpine 4 channel amp for my front left and right speakers. The other 2 connect into the other two channels on the same amp that I have bridged on the back side pushing a very tight hitting 8" JL microsub. Does't sound like much but it hits. The clarity I'm getting from the JL receiver is some of the best I've heard. Make sure the bluetooth on your phone is able to encode the data to the MBT-RX in aptX so you can take full advantage of what the receiver has to offer.
