Price for Power makes it worth buying.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich For the price the power is really good. I tested it with a 1,500 watt heater and it had no problems at all. I then used an 8,000 btu window AC and it ran it no problem.
Also it makes no sounds out of my appliances. Other cheaper pure sine waves made my fan make sounds and my LED flood lights flicker. Not this, it lights up bright and no sounds from appliances. Perfect. For the price I recommend it.

Great MPPTs, Safe, Easy to use, pre programmed, powerful, great upgrade over pwms.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I recommend these mppt controllers. I have not had a single one that has been bad or gone bad.
I have purchased 7 for my off grid Tiny Home, shed, garden, storage area etc over past couple years..
I had pwm's the larger 70 dollar pwm's about the same size but 70 amps. I was a little worried about amps and heat going to these 40amp mppt's but no problems at all and we are hitting 110 degree temps right now and all good. I still have a couple PWMs to replace so I can look at the same 5 panels next to the same type of 5 panels on the rack in same sun light etc and see these putting out 21-22 amps and the pwm putting out 18-21 amps in direct sunlight. but, in lower light in the evening the MPPT runs still at twice the amps on average! where the pwm will make 1-2 amps until dark, these MPPTs will run 2 to 4 amps. average. so I can see real world results. they are worth it and will make you more power and return on the little higher cost. for the price in this range these 40 amp Rich Solar's cant be beat. I trust them for my entire off grid living and safety etc. they are good and I know for a fact you can expand your system and grow over time with these. That is exactly what I have done.
For example I now run 5x100 watt panels per group, rated at 5.5 max amps each, running 12v.
At the MPPT I see 21-22 amps on average coming into it with a max of 24 amps. So these handle it great. (I cant run more than 5 panels per group do to the watts fyi) so I run another one of these MPPTs and 5 more panels in another group and have been adding over the past couple years while building my tiny home for a total of 30 panels I am now up too. Slowly built my system little by little. (already bought inverters etc in 12v back in the day and over the years fyi) and now changing over from pwms to 6 of these mppts and all going into one main 12v battery bank and they all work together no issues over charging etc. they all slow down charging, float etc and or all fast charge no issues. these are great..
All have worked perfect and I will be buying more and expanding my shed, storage, (washer dryer) etc
I have been running the programming that is pre installed and have had no issues.
I run several solar systems to power several parts of my off grid Tiny home. On the main tiny home I run 6 of them all coming into one battery bank and they all work great together charging my big bank.
2 more smaller systems one with 1 pwm and 1 mppt and one still with 2 pwms charging smaller systems. this is where I can still see the difference and have over the pwm. these are a great upgrades and will get you more power over a pwm. I cant say how much better they are over bigger mppts or other brands etc but I know this brand and size are so great I have only bought them and trust them at this point. couple years of use up to just buying one last week. so all still seem great over the years if I bought them now or awhile ago all seem the same and work perfect..
I will keep expanding and buying more.
Perfect mppt if your new I would not waste time and money on a pwm I would save up or buy these instead. If you are a newer person starting out these are pre programmed, have good instructions and videos online to help and really are safe. I really recommend them.
