High quality, as expected of Ortofon products!

The case is very solidly made so it has some weight to it which is nice because, if your cables are stiff, the unit will stay in place nicely. The ST-7 makes clear improvements to the sound compared to my already nice Yaqin MS-33B phono stage. Initially I had some hum, but then read the instructions and made the proper grounding connections....no more hum! Read the instructions! If you already use an MC phono stage for your Ortofon MC cart, you need to consider this step-up transformer. All MC phono-stages that use FETS instead of transformers for the signal amplification into the 47K ohm RIAA stage have limitations, so this is the best solution if you want better sound from your system.

Unbelievable value and it works so well!
My second hand Honda GCV160 5.5HP mower was running rough, stalling and hunting. I changed the air filter, cleaned out the fuel tank and took the carburettor off to clean it. However, the carby was badly corroded, I think due to being used with E10, so I resigned myself to replacing it as the jets were seized up and could not be removed for proper cleaning. Then I found this kit. It arrrived in a few days, was simple to install and included all the gaskets. It started first pull! My Honda now runs so smoothly and idles just as well too. For the price its not worth stuffing around. These after-market carby kits are fantastic!

The Heresy III really sparkles and can rock!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Heresy III has had a long history of satisfied customers since 1957, which is why it it is still in production today with only a few minor changes to the design. The sealed box design, with large 12" short throw woofer and horn-loaded mid-range and tweeter, (all high quality drivers) all contribute to the performance. We already owned a 1985 version of the Heresy. It was the last of the series 1s so we already knew they were an excellent speaker. My wife and I are loving our new IIIs which have a slightly better bass response and slightly better efficiency. You don't need an insanely high powered amp for these either. Just a good amp that has that all important high quality "first watt". At normal listening volumes, our amp is just cruising at around 1W driving the Heresy IIIs! It is the perfect speaker for low powered tube amps and I've heard about some audiophiles that run them with 3W amps! If you consider yourself an audiophile, consider the Klipsch Heresy. Doof Doof lovers will have to look elsewhere.
