Effective.

I needed a remote for my a77II. This one does the job. Very easy to use even in the dark. Small and weighs next to nothing. I can't say anything about battery life since it still runs on the first battery I put in it. Oh, and did I mention..it's cheap! Very very cheap compared to the original Sony remote.
