Works great....
This says it's good for a 1/2 HP motor. I checked the current rating on it and it was 2 amps over the draw of my 1.5 HP Dust Dawg shop vac. So far no problems. Have been using it over a week now. It is so nice to be able to turn on and shut off the vac from the lathe or table saw or whatever I'm using without having to run across the shop every time.

Sturdier than bargain brands.
Ball.... Kerr... Same company. These are better quality than the bargain brands. I don't want to mess around with junk when it comes to canning. The price seems a little high but I suppose the people panic was the cause of that. Been canning for 45 years then all of a sudden you can't get lids, rings, any canning supplies.
