great idea. poor execution
I want to use my old 3-bolt road shoes with SPD pedals on our new spin bike. The Well RC8 appeared to be a magic bullet. However there are two problems: 1) the product doesn't include a practical qty of short mounting screws. Most applications will require 6x short screws to mount the cleats to the shoes, plus another 4x short screws to mount the strike plates to the cleats. There simply are not enough screws included with the product, because Wellgo includes freakishly long screws for outlier applications instead of the typical short length that a majority of users will require. 2) once the plates are mounted, the cleat does not produce the same stable feel that a typical SPD cleat will achieve with the same pedals. There's a ton of slop, and no way to adjust it. It's endemic to the design. This is completely unacceptable. Buyer beware.
