Ruined my boat!
I bought this roll to use with West System epoxy to repair a wood racing shell. The first three feet of the roll were unusable because glue used to hold the roll together instead of tape seeped through several turns. I applied a clean section of the cloth to the hull using the West System clear hardener. When cured, decent six ounce fiberglass should be nearly transparent. Instead, this fabric remained substantially white and plainly visible. In addition, the tape would not go down flat enough, with the result that sanding before varnishing removed some of the fiberglass high spots. It looks awful. I need to try to sand it off and hope that it does not ruin the boat entirely. The seller refunded my money, but this is minute recompense for all the time and materials involved and the possible ruination of an eighteen thousand dollar racing double. This product does not deserve even the one star assigned.

The grommet should fit more snugly around the PCV valve. 1/32" smaller diameter would accomplish this. Application was a 1969 Ford F600 with a 330 cubic inch big block.

Mis-identified
I needed a wiper switch for a Chevrolet truck. A wiper switch search yielded this item and others similar to it, as well as many wiper-signal stalks. When I dismantled the steering column, I discovered that this product is not really a wiper switch. Rather it is a harness into which the actual wiper switch plugs. This item is fine for what it is, but if you need a wiper switch, it is sort of rectangular box into which the wiper-signal stalk screws. However, in an older vehicle, it is probably a good idea to replace the stalk, switch, and harness at the same time because plastics get brittle with age. Doing so would avoid going through the considerable effort of taking apart a steering column multiple times to replace them individually.
