Excellent product, well made.
Idea for the specialist camera person. Perfect for removing the lens rings on the front or releasing or tightening the collars to fit large format lenses to lens panels. Excellent value.

Roof bars for estate without roof rails.
Wanted roofbars for an '06 Skoda Fabia Estate (without roof rails). These bars were ideal and the tensioning cable gave me more confidence in the fit and security.
Fitting was a little tricky because the mounting flanges have to fit behind the seals. This took a little time but was resolved using a plane stainless table knife (no serrations) to get behind the seal ad allow the flange to slip into position.
The only downside is that the tensioning cables vibrate above 40mph but I am experimenting with wind deflectors. Otherwise a great product.

Good value
I bought this piece of kit really as an experiment, to see what you get for the money and, in general terms, I have been impressed. Its a good window light and, with the boom-arm, its a very flexible piece of kit, probably best suited to table-top product shots.
If I had one cautionary observation it would be that the build quality, particularly in the boom-arm, is probably not as good as it could be. At full extension, the boom-arm bends more than I would like and, as a result, I won't use the boom-arm at its fullest extension. But, other than that, this product represents very good value for money. It won't take hard use but, used carefully, it will do the job.
If I needed it, I'd buy another without hesitation.
