Great looking lights

These lights look really good once fitted. The connectors can mean routing the cables is fiddly, but with forethought and planning they’re fine.. a 23mm drill or cutter is needed for the light and at least 16mm one for the plugs. There were no fitting instructions in my set but then again the lights are so simple to fit they are not really needed.

Accessible revisionist work on Britain’s most contentious battle.

Sebag-montefiore has produced a very readable account of his narrative for the battle of the Somme. He offers some interesting new ideas surrounding many of the contentious areas of the offensive from artillery size to Haig and Rawlinson’s relationship. While some history snobs maybe quick to point out the authors lack of scholarly credentials I found the book accessible and written with enough flourish to keep a reader interested.

Desk not coffe table material

The content of the book provides useful knowledge, argument and interest and as Barnett writes in a way that is very accessible, when compared to some writers in the field, Verdict of Peace is a worthwhile addition to the study desk, if not the coffe table.
