Paperback
Though it's not hardback, it's a very good reference work with great photos and descriptions. The paper stock is heavy, high quality.

don't bother
I had the impression that the book contents would be informative on government, climate, history, etc of the country. The book was completely useless and quite expensive.

Compact field guide; very user friendly
Good field guide with lots of color plates and well organized.
Lots of information in a compact size. I especially like the maps on the end papers & the distribution range maps in the fish description. Very well done as are all Audubon Society field guides.
