Bought these to use their button overlays as replacements. So I had no programming requirement.
I replaced the button overlay in my old keys (the contacts were falling out of place) with the button overlay from these new keys. That way I had no further programming to do. It worked perfectly! Someone asked about "How do you get them open?" I can only say that you have to get the flat edge of a small screwdriver inside the butt end of the key fob and twist it a bit and lift firmly until the side seam starts to separate and then worry that for awhile and it will come apart without breaking. The new key fobs ARE NOT glued (but they do fit tight). My old key fobs each had a tiny screw in the butt end of the fob (only visible after the 'spare' key was removed) which had to be removed so the button overlay could be swapped out.

My Seagate momentus experience
The original 640 GB drive in my HP Pavilion d7 failed to boot just two days after had made a backup image of the drive. It was the best possible disaster scenario. I simply bought a replacement drive and copied the image to it. It is performing exactly like the original disk. That means it is reasonably quiet (I can hear it spin up but there are no other extraneous noises), it seems stable (though my original one did, too ,,, until it didn't). Speed? Well, it delivers what it is supposed to. It's no 7200 rpm speed demon, but it is exactly what I expected it to be. This one came well packed and showed up faster than I though it would. No surprises here. That's a GOOD thing. Color me satisfied.
