Sounds better than ever!

This album was recorded in an unconventional way for the time. The then modern method of recorded was to record at 30 ips (inches per second), where as Ken Callait recorded it at 15 ips and utilized Dolby noise reduction. This meant that the source tapes were super clean and quiet. As I listened to an original, barely 110 gram record from the 70's it sounded great. When I put this 180 gram record at 45 RPM, it was like the Wizard of Oz going from black and white to color! All of the layering and vocal harmonies are so much more rich and present. Just wow!

Spendy, but no more needle buildup and a REALLY deep Clean

I never in a million years thought I would spend this much on a record cleaner, but after many nights cleaning 50 year old records, and having the cleaning solution and dirt accumuate on the needle, this is an AMAZING device. Especially compared to more expensive cleaners.
