The sweet smell of pipe smoke.
A fun read for anyone who has tired of a world that frowns any intelligent choice that doesn't fit the mold. This is a treatise on the joy that is pipe smoking and pipe collecting. The beauty of a handmade object of art, the aroma of good tobacco, and the relaxation of sharing a puff with like-minded souls. A fun read and informative, the prose moves along in a fun stream of information and interesting stories.
Highly recommended for an armchair read with a strong black coffee and a good brier.

Conversational tone that provides instructional "nuggets".
Jim knight does a very good job of making instructional topics engaging and informative. I like the conversational tone. As a post secondary instructional coach I find it difficult to find content that isn't aimed at the K-12 world, this volume does a good job of providing context that is applicable to working with other instructors and peers in general. All content requires the reader to mine for the nuggets, and this book has a great many nuggets.
