Classic version of Car Wars, just as fun as it ever was
This is the classic game Car Wars, the version released in 1990. I'd played the earlier editions, but this one has pretty much the same rules and pieces, but in a bigger box. It was fun playing and reliving old times (and playing with an 11-year-old that enjoyed playing it for the first time). The one "complaint" would be that the all-too-critical map has folds in it that can make it REALLY hard to maintain the exact positions required for all the pieces, but even that frustration somehow triggered some nostalgia.
As a table-top game, this one's a classic worth revisiting!
