Huge comfort upgrade
The standard F-19 pad is 16 mm thick and if your forearm is pressing more on the rear of the pad (very common position for many people) it will quickly compress down to a minimum thickness with the resulting discomfort. This pad is 30% thicker and the foam seems to be more dense. It is a totally different, much higher, comfort level and certainly worth the price.

Great for viewers of "The Pacific"
If you watched "The Pacific" it's interesting to read the material it was based on. The author has been a professional writer since High School so it is written better than a lot of memoirs. Also interesting to see how certain characters were actually constructed from several different actual people ("Snafu" is a good example). One interesting point: author refers to NO one by actual name. Officers and enlisted are referred to by their nicknames only.
