L5V Driver is a winner!
This is a great club for me! Hits long and straight. The adjustability of this driver is a helpful added feature, but I have found leaving it at zero (square) works best for me. The Mitsubishi Diamana shaft is awesome and inspires confidence for me as a mid to high handicapper.

Big Bertha 2004 3 Wood
I have other BB 2004 Fairway Woods (5, 7 and 9) and love them. I find them easy to hit off the fairway or tee and even out of light rough. However, I was disappointed in this new 3 wood. It is probably me, the golfer, having a hard time with a longer club! But,alas, so far I have not had success using this club in my game, not even off the tee. So for now it will be retired for a while to the garage until my skills improve (or until I get a 3 hybrid)!

TaylorMade SuperSteel Single 5 iron (M-Flex)
Like the rest of my Supersteel set, this 5 iron is so smooth and hits the golf ball so easy and sweet! This must be one of the better irons sets TM ever made. Even though more than a decade old now, I think the Supersteels are a good choice for a beginning golfer - and can usually be found for a very reasonable price on ebay. They are very forgiving and help you build confidence quickly!
