Great item for the price.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich At the price there's very little to moan about. It looks great, works well, easy to assemble & set up, reasonably light and portable without being too flimsy. If I had a criticism I would say some sort of cover/lid would be a great addition but as I say, at the price I'm quite happy with what I've got.

Quality item at an affordable price, but...
On first receipt I was immediately struck by the build quality for the price. I did have to make a very minor modification to fit it to my particular machine, this was not entirely unexpected & should not be taken as a criticism.
Obviously because of it's size it does have it's limitations but once properly set up the slideways operate smoothly, I can see a long and happy future together.
There is just one small problem. The 'T' nuts provided with the vice jaws are rubbish, in fact they're not really 'T' nuts at all and can easily move about when loaded. The first thing i did was to set about manufacturing some new ones & happy days, much better, had these been included in the box I'd be awarding the full *****.

A near perfect introduction to a DSLR, and more, great value.
8 von 8 finden das hilfreich Bought as an upgrade from my trusty D40x. I have now had a chance to put this through it's paces & have to say, very impressive. Other reviewers have talked about the HD video facility, I only really shoot stills so thats where I'm coming from.
I do quite a lot of low/available light work, my main concern, coming up to 24MP, was sensor noise at high ISO's. I can put any such worries to bed, some recent work at ISO1600 & over has been incredible. Autofocus has performed particularly well in some difficult conditions, a great improvement on the D40x which I found could be a little unpredictable. Coming from the D40x controls & menu's very familiar.
For me, the only criticism I have is the rather silly built in user guide. I appreciate someone new to a DSLR might find it useful early on but after that it just becomes a bit of a nuisance. The camera comes with a useful guidebook, read and learn would be my advice.
This could be the perfect intro level DSLR, ideal if your coming up from a 10-12MP unit. Probably the real attraction to this camera is simply down to the price. Fantastic value for money, if you're on any kind of budget then look further.
