12" x 17-5/16" Wood Lathe Gen'l-Int'l 25-200M1 complete with carton.

When you want excellence buy this wood lathe.

I have been a production wood turner since mid-2000. As my craft business Sherman's SpinninTops grew year by year I reinvested into my business by upgrading lathes and other shop equipment to meet production volume in my two one-man shops. By 2012 I was ready to buy a new G-I 25-300 for the workshop at home. By March 2014 I had developed the craft business to offer classes in my craft shop teaching on a Jet 1221-VS. That summer Home Depot Online offered the G-I 25-200 12" X 17" Maxi Lathe with features surpassing the Jet 1221-VS. I bought mine in August 2014 then sold my Jet lathe in October to a friend. I left the craft shop gig the end of September and mounted the new lathe in my home shop. Two years and five months have passed since the departure from the craft shop. I am shrinking my equipment inventory in 2017. I sense it is time to sell this great quality wood lathe.

A fine book easy to use for reference; great details.

A fellow woodworker loaned me his older copy and I could not put it down! I have used it three times since it arrived two weeks ago. Mr. Porter did himself proud.

Gates' career shows exemplary work and service to America.

Earlier this year 2016 I viewed a two hour interview on C-Span in which Robert Gates opened up as a professional person ought to do. I am reading his book Duty then this book Passion comes next. i expect both books will enlighten my impressions of him and enrich my knowledge of military leadership and management progression.
