Some assembly may be required
If it was 100% direct replacement it would have been a 5 Star review. I looked up the original part number on Ford and I confirmed on eBay. As you can see by my images it has the same part number but it is different in size. The replacement faceplate is about an inch bigger than the original in my truck. I am sure it is correct in others. To resolve, I used four toothpicks to hold the tabs in so I could pull the assembly apart. I took the internal parts from the replacement and put in the original parts housing. Connectors are the same, it fit in the original assembly and more importantly, it just worked and now I have my Synch system back again. It was not a direct swap in mine but it worked well enough to resolve.
