NOT OEM equivalent
Didnt fit my machine without modifications. Mechanic working on my 2000 Recon just threw it away.

Garmin 4212 - I expected more.
10 von 14 finden das hilfreich Garmin has basicly taken over the market but their high end chart plotters do leave a lot to be desired. I expected a lot more for so much money. Many of the things a GPS should easily be able to do aren't available... There is only a limited amount of screen customizing available. Mine still won't work in the "auto route" mode - it always thinks it's in too shallow water even though it's showing 400' depth on the same screen. Also DON'T think you can wire the unit yourself. Garmin uses 28g. (VERY small) wires that need special tools to make up. BUT the screen is BIG - and big is always better - right? I bought it mostly for the "fish eye" view. Extra cost for the card and I'm not convinced that it is very accurate. How do it know? No mention of what it is using for data source in the manual.
