What a disappointment!
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich WHAT a disappointment! A total waste of money. It's a piss-poor representation for a sci-fi, a fantasy, or even a religious film. I have to imagine that deep down, Russel Crowe knows it is his worst film ever!
Smoke, or drops, or tiny little nanobots, rising through the soil? Stone-like creatures that help build (actually they DO build the ark for Noah)? COME ON, PEOPLE!!! The rare thing that I found believable in the entire film is the number and variety of creatures that find their own way into the ark.
As for me, give me liberty from this film, or give IT a death blow!

The ZERO KILLER
Grumman's F6F-5 Hellcat was the most successful fighter plane of WWII. Until this fighter was delivered to American forces the Japanese A6M5 Zero had no equal in the Pacific theatre of war. The F6F-5 was not just equal to the Zero but it dominated the "Zeke" at every battle. This kit is a reissue of the original 1963 release, and has few details available, but the kit is a good one overall. The wheels and landing gear are made to retract, and the wings are designed to fold up for storage on an aircraft carrier. There are numerous aftermarket detail sets for everything from the interior cockpit to the wheels and landing gear. It is simple but well designed and any modeler should have little trouble in creating a nice display.

Very good cast, excellent CGI effects, enjoyable for most audiences. TRY IT
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This movie is worlds away from the 1960's original production. LOTS of fun to watch. This was a two-disc set and I haven't seen the additional disc of special features, but I suspect it will be a good experience as well.
I am not a movie critic, but I know when a movie keeps my interest with excellent quality of craftsmanship, and THIS is how I describe this production. Acting is very good with most of the main characters, the CG work is really good throughout. Only Godzilla can create a feeling of personal connection and a sense of rooting for the underdog monster which is, after all, the main character. I would expect a second follow-up movie with more of the secondary monsters such as "Mothra" coming up against Godzilla in future sequels.
This movie should please most audiences whether family or date night viewing, but that would of course be determined by mom and dad for younger viewers. I consider it a 4 out-of 5 star rating from me.
