A beautiful trans story.
The story is exactly what happens to transwomen, the feelings inside, the hope for acceptance and finally the gender reassignment surgery. I should know I am one. A beautifully written autobiography.

A beautiful women's story
After reading "the pea pickers" and "the last days of ava Langdon", it is a must to read the story of her middle years. Great reading about this eccentric woman who was in her own eyes a hermaphrodite.

And I thought I had a tough life.
Being transsexual, I didn't realise how easier my life was compared to what Max had to go through and others in the world just like him. I cried so many times reading the story and just had to buy my own copy. Really should be on the top 100 list like 'Middlesex' by Jeffrey Eugenides. Wonderfully written by Tarttelin who must have researched this subject thoroughly.
