    Disappointing.
    I have read most of Professor Cramer’s papers and lectures on the Transactional Interpretation (TI) of Quantum Mechanics (QM) (many of which used to be freely available from his web site). I find the TI very helpful in getting my mind round some aspects of quantum non-locality. So, I was expecting great things from this book which I thought would bring his works together and up to date. The book has also had excellent reviews on Amazon. However, I was quite disappointed when the book did arrive as it took only a day or so to digest it. I found a few minor typos, but what most disappointed me was the lack of detail, the disproportionate amount of space given to defending the TI, and the unnecessary criticism of others. There was also a distinct lack of clarity over his interpretation of his own theory. For example; in several places in the book he states: “Yes. The wave functions are objects in normal three-dimensional space”, and “The TI permits the wave function to be, in some sense, a real object moving through space” and “The wave function or offer wave exist as a representation of possibility…but is not in a form that can be experimentally tested to verify its existence”. He dismisses the ‘pilot-wave’ interpretation [particle guided by wave] of de-Broglie and Bohm on the basis of the origins of the uncertainty principle and Fourier pairs. But, my understanding of the ‘pilot-wave’ theory is that it is not specific in terms of the “exact” location of the particle as this depends on the uncertainty in the initial ‘boundary’ conditions. If you have not read about the TI, then I would highly recommend reading Cramer’s original papers from the 1980’s. On the more positive side, the book does nicely bring together in chapters 6 and 7 TI’s of some interesting QM paradoxes and non-locality.

    Far too dark
    It would be a nice puzzle if it wasn't so dark. You need good natural lighting to see it, so not one for the dark evenings!
