One of the Best Albums of All Time
2 von 4 finden das hilfreich I've purchased this CD set 3 times since it came out, due to losing a disc here and there when moving and what not.
It's a snapshot in time of when music was simply amazing. Nothing has come out since that can compare to this piece of art, and I would be very surprised if anything came out in my lifetime that could even come close to it.
This album marks the pinnacle of The Smashing Pumpkins music and will (in my opinion) reign as their greatest album ever made. They couldn't ever top this. While I enjoy Adore and Machina (II), Zwan and Zeitgeist very much, I don't think they capture the sound of when SP was at their best.
I respect the bands push to keep their sound changing and evolving, because any respectful listener would be out of their mind to expect a band to keep churning out the same stuff over and over (which we see so commonly these days). We have MCIS to enjoy when we want that old Pumpkins sound while being able to enjoy the new sounds Billy Corgan creates up through Teargarden.

Best Emperor in Town
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This version of Palpatine is fantastic. I don't think I could find a better sculpt between this and a 6" figure. Luke's hair is way too light, but I fixed that with an overcoat of oil paint (burnt umber), since I was using these in a Final Duel diorama that I'm currently working on putting together, so I wanted it to be more screen accurate.
The Royal Guard is great, just needs the staff painted to look more movie accurate.

Best FPS This Millenium
Graphics are second to none. The physics engine is incredible and the single player story line is great. First game I've played more than once using harder difficulty levels.
