I’m a husband, father, lay minister in the Church of England, a secondary school teacher and a professional singer.

Perfect for the job
Any size of iPad fits but don’t try for iPhone. You can always go K&M but they have zero adaptability! These Hercules stands are fantastic and highly durable. The only slight downside is that there are no foams given to be able to make this work with a boom arm, it has to be the main thick trunk of a stand.

Exceeds expectations by far
I bought this as a test to see how good it would be. I’m literally amazed. I’ve not tried the DMX yet but that is something to review later. The functionality and no-nonsense our of the box functionality is far better than I hoped it could be. I watched a YouTube review of one of these from Amazon and the main problem is that it strobed between colours . Well, this one doesn’t! This one very quiet when moving, the fan isn’t as loud as one would expect and the fluidity is movement is excellent. The remote function is simple yet highly useful when choosing cookies, auto settings, manual, flash (strobe), cookies and save. ‘Off’ doesn’t turn off the unit but instead is blackout. Again, the comments on the Amazon product YouTube said that it takes ages to initialise - 15+ seconds. Well again this trumps that version as this doesn’t do that at all. Finally this seller’s communication is very quick and very friendly. They’ve also recommended complimentary products when I asked. Overall a clear 10/10 for a product that comes in at under £50 and that includes 48 hour tracked Royal Mail. Stunning. Don’t think too hard, just buy! Richard.
