Smooth out the small bump action.
My Yari ran stiff in the initial stroke , with small bump freedback and heavy chatter at high speed at the top of the stroke. After installing the new 2021 air spring chatter was greatly reduced, and high speed small bump smoothness was much improved.

Does the job of measuring and finding excessive wear.
Had this less than a week and used it several times to measure cylinders internal dimensions for bearings and have been very useful. Doing loaded with locking bezel.
