made in china would have been to much trouble to send back
they don't fit in the charger inside the stem that goes in there is small extended pieces of plastic.I removed them very careful and they would lock in place but the charger did not charge. The craftsman charger only showed the red light that means it just test.They went in the trash.I think I found the right stuff with another seller. You have to make sure the number for the battery is right
