Versatile pocket sized rugged HD video Camera for catching outdoor action
I bought this camera to video my Remote Control 10th Scale Trucks. I wanted HD video at 60 fps so that I could slow down the action and still get smooth flowing video. The half speed gives more realism and provides for some spectacular action video. When I'm out Rock Crawling I want a camera that does High Defintion video, is compact & rugged, shockproof, dustproof, waterproof and easy to use. This camera is all of those in a mobile phone sized package. It also has a standard tripod socket which gets used a lot of the time. The ZX5 comes with useful editing software which is easy to use and produces excellent quality results. Dislikes? - not many - perhaps I would like to have 1080p @60fps and would be nice to have an optical zoom, But these would detract from the biggest LIKE - the cost !!! - this camera is very reasonably priced, less than half that of the alternative GoPro Hero2. I am 100% happy with my purchase of the Kodak Playsport ZX5 and have purchased a remote control for it as well. This is a most versatile camera.
