The barrels with 6 needles are very convenient, and all sharps are secured inside the cartridge when it's removed, so no need for a sharps container. The depth of penetration is user controlled and has a good range. There is also another end cap available for alternate site testing. Pain is minimal, and I always have enough blood to test every time. It's also one movement to activate - just press it against test site and push the plunger. I don't want to use anything else.
