A must read for Hitch fans.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich If you know and love Christopher Hitchens work and outlook on life, you have to read this, his final contribution to the cause of common sense and reason. You can read it in an afternoon easily enough. I still get a little emotional when I think of what could have been had he not left us so soon. This little book is simply his last thoughts about the end of life, and how he handled his own inevitable demise. The random ramblings at the end are really quite moving. Even at the very end of his life, when he could no longer talk, he wrote down his thoughts and observations. I've read most of Hitchens books, and following his career from the mid nineties, and I love his writing style. The man had such eloquence and a seemingly endless amount of knowledge to draw from. A loss to the literary world, and an even bigger loss in the pursuit of fact over fiction, and the end of corruption and greed. Thanks Hitch for everything.

Poor sound quality, such a shame
Nothing wrong with the music, Whitesnake were a brilliant 80s big-hair band. It's the quality of the recording that lets this disc down. It's all highs, no bass. I don't know who mixed it but it's one of the worst mastering jobs I've ever heard. It ruins an otherwise good compilation. Even in the car it sounds rubbish. Very disappointed, sorry.
