Donny Still Rocking
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Donny Osmond was a Heartthrob in the late 60's and early 70's. He has gained new fans along the way as teeny-boppers turned into moms and passed their passion along. Seeing Donny in concert on numerous occasions as a preteen and teen was a pleasure and privilege. Donny along with his brothers and occassionally Marie never disappointed a crowd. Now in my late 40's I still feel the magic when I hear him sing and a thrill when I see him perform. As a mom I usually buy CD's and things for the girls and rest of the family. So spending the money on a CD just for my self was a treat. Once I received this CD and listened to it, I realized my preteen crush was still an amazing source of joy to me. I then went back to eBay and grabbed up a few more Donny items. LPs I once owned and loved, CD's and teen magazines too. I then shared them with my preteen and younger daughter. They thought "Oh no, not Puppy Love again" and were pleasantly surprised to find themselves listening to Soldier of Love. They liked it so much that when they saw Donny and his family were to appear on Oprah, they asked me to tape it so they too could watch. We will not erase that show, we have watched it together at least a dozen times so far. And my little one cheered for Marie on Dancing with the stars and was very excited everytime she caught a glimpse of Donny in the audience. SO this old fan has now brought in a new generation of fans. This CD will bring the youthful magic back into your heart, rekindle a love for Donny's strong voice and emotionally charged Christmas music. Having Christmas at home playing during the holiday season fills the house with warmth and joy. A true Holiday album filled with spiritual and joyful music. A must have for all the old and all the new fans.

Flashback to '72
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich If you loved Donny in the 70's then this DVD is for you. It is a flash back that will have goosebumps running down your arms. The hair, the costumes, the songs!!! I rated it good instead of excellent because it was not a live performance, but instead it was taped in front of a studio audience. Other then that you felt the magic. The energy in each song is amazing. The dance steps will make your heart pump if you can remember them and keep up. "Little" Jimmy was such a charmer. And Donny, well Donny will still melt your heart. I felt like I was 13 again. Great Osmond standard songs. (PS the seller I purchased this from is wonderful. You will not get a bootleg/burned copy.) Enjoy.
