Excellent and straightforward device
I bought this as a replacement for a previous model that had lost its "remote" facility. Iit was difficult to establish whether it was the transmitter or the receiver that had failed, so a complete set was required.
The new device arrived VERY quickly and was set to work within a few minutes. All was well. I particularly liked the dual (major/minor) display choice. (The old model was also very good but had a switchable single display)
I then had two sets of similar items with probably only one fault. So with a little playing with the gear before me, I was able to establish that it was the old remote transmitter that was faulty. (Not surprising really. Freeze/thaw, freeze/thaw many times)
However, before too long, the old "base station" / receiver, which I had left indicating, tuned itself to the new remote transmitter and displayed properly.
So I now have two base stations that display their local temperature independently and an outside temperature from a common source.
Excellent result.

These pliers appear to be quite durable. I have not given them any significant use, so reserve comment as to their long term performance.
I just cannot give them 5 stars, as the Ebay item description and the script on the packet clearly read "90 degrees". The pliers are actually about 45 degrees offset. I find it difficult to imagine how people can go to the considerable effort of producing such an item, using multitudes of skills, operations and engineering abilities, only to make a cock up of the final text on a piece of card.
