Easy to install but awkward to set the time.
This was fitted into an 25mm deep double pattress with a switched fused outlet next to it. Wiring is easy. Setting the program times is easy. It is simple to operate in three modes: On all the time, timed and off all the time.
Negative: Because there are 84 segments on the dial the clock is divided into 2 hour segments, and it is difficult to set the clock precisely because it is not clear what the time setting is.
The way round this is to be present to set the clock at any even hour of the day, e.g. Noon, 2pm, 4pm 6pm, etc. then temporarily set the timer to come on at that time, and rotate the dial until it switches on. You then know that the clock time is correct. You can then unset that time segment so that the timer functions as you want it to.
If you want the timer to come on at an odd hour, e.g. 1pm then you have to select the following hour (2pm) and advance the clock setting by one hour, although this will throw out all the other timings.

Good quality, great price.
Seems to be a good quality aternative to the OEM product. Price is very reasonable.
