Wonderful if you like touchpads, but if you prefer a mouse stay with that.

Pos: Its handy for Windows 8 swipe functionality on machines without a touchscreen and its much bigger than the average touchpad, so navigating is much easier than say the touchpad on your laptop. Feel solid and well-built, nice touch surface. Looks good. Functions flawlessly including the Win 8 swipe motions. Wireless range pretty good (easily connects to tower located below desk). Peacefully co-exists with a USB mouse on same computer. Neg: I've always preferred the accuracy of a mouse for desktop navigation and although this is a "cool" device, the Dell TP713 for me doesn't replace a mouse. I have both a mouse and the pad hooked up to the same machine and sitting next to each other and will use one or the other depending on what I'm doing. I find myself reaching for the mouse most times. Summary: Great for those who prefer touchpads, but if you grew up with a mouse then likely you will reach for that first.
