Cheap for a reason
I purchased a set of aftermarket side steps thinking I was getting a good deal, I was wrong.
No instructions, poor quality fasteners and brackets that aren't quite right. Attempting to fit them was interesting to say the least.
Having downloaded some instructions and watching a few YouTube videos I had a go. After trying a number of different ways I finally concluded that the spar that passes through the brackets was either too short (by 30mm) or the inner brackets were poorly made. I think it's the brackets the supporting welded bars inside are not even parallel.
