Great Game.
I always felt the OG FF7 was textbook overrated. FF6 and FF9 were the best. So I went into Remake with a lukewarm excitement. I ended up loving it dearly. It exponentially increased the characterization and character relationship building. As well as tuning Midgar into what felt like a large metropolis. The OG never did this very well.
Loved it so much I had to get the 2nd part Rebirth. Then decided to track down the goodies from the Remake deluxe edition. Luckily there were a few with no game included, making the price a bit less .

Cleaned up and looking pretty.
It's the best FF game from the PS1 generation. No it's not FF7. FF9 is a FF game through and through. It's themes of identity was peak Squaresoft storytelling.
