Good solid product
Nice solid piece of kit. Note when testing to see which terminals are joined with which position of the dial knob, screw the terminals in first as my resistance meter didn't work till i did this.

Great little constant battery state monitor, no fuss installing, colourful, clear screen, that i make portable by using a phone charging battery pack.
Wireless signal reaches half the length of the 50ft narrowboat, through a layer of 0.5 cm thick metal and two hard wood walls. So just about happy with that. Accurate enough, really nice to know before the batteries reach 50% of their max so can recharge before full cycle reached and prolong battery life. Two things. Get the sensor the right way round on the battery to earth strap else power going out of the battery will show the amp hours left increasing rather than decreasing. When setting max amp hours of batteries and percent left...always cer....(ie set all else to zero with the earth strap detached so there's no current flowing in or out of the battery), at the same time otherwise after charging...(showing amps going into the batteries), the monitor will not show amps going out, staying at 0. Very satisfied overall. Thank you. Instructions are ok. PS Since above review... i have found the sender unit to malfunction after prolonged input to the batteries from the alternator...stopping the engine...the unit shows a sudden apparent indication of battery draining up to 100amp continuously. Very frightening at first but like a computer it just needs power off and on to the unit. Also one of the transmitter or receiver cards died...wireless...stopped. The company help was excellent and after showing the fault on line i was sent another unit... no quibble... . All still working 6 months on. Still love it.
