Isolated problem paint to allow repainting
Was struggling with hammerite coating reacting with new top colour coat. This fixed the problem and allowed me to apply a new topcoat

Great Value Guitar Combo or speaker stand

Light weight with good adjustment BUT not very rigid & potentially unstable
As received, parts were not well manufactured - two holes out of alignment that needed to be re-drilled to complete assembly. Once assembled the adjustment is good. It should be noted that the base is a modest size and does extend far enough back to prevent it toppling backwards under load if the uprights are angled back too far. Finally, when set with uprights at max height, the unit flexes from side to side. I was a little nervous with my 2 x 12" speaker cabinet on top and wouldn't put my Fender Deville Combo any where near this stand. A brace bar at the top between the uprights would fix this issue and would have been a sensible inclusion in the design.
CONCLUSION : Can be set to multiple heights / angles / inclinations. However, its not very rigid / stable. IMO, its just about ok carrying a 2 x 12" speaker cabinet, but it would be a very brave guitarist who used it set "high" with a heavy Combo amp on the top.
