Powerful read
This is a very powerful book based on true events ,I had to keep putting the book down and literally cried reading some of the horrific things this young girl had suffered ,it really does make you look at your own life and value you it so much more for having an upbringing that didn't involve anything like this poor lady had endured as a child ...the only good thing was the outcome years later and the happiness and love she found eventually by a wonderful man ....gripping book from start to finish and moved me in so many ways and literally had me in tears at what cruelty Dana fowley suffered as a child.

Hard to read but a great book
This is a brilliant book but very hard to read what these 3 sisters suffered at the hands of their own father...very honest and hard to understand what awful abuse they had to suffer as children..but a fabulous book and would strongly recommend
