nice little switch

this is a perfect little breadboard switch and could be used other ways im sure. the switch came assembled well soldered quality board. Nice little set of switches. I bought one just to see the quality of the build and now i will buy more. Thanks

Not for Vixen but works for Freestyler I am no expert

This item does not seem to support Vixen but did finally work in freestyler with a lot of failure. The CD is really of no help and I had to go to the internet for information on how to get the drivers right. This may only be for windows 10 but what a pain in the to get it to work. So if all you want it for is to run freestyler it is low cost and does work after a lot of work on your part. So it is what it is. I am no DMX expert but got rs485's to run my controllers in Vixen. I will cut it up for the cable and throw the rest away. If you are looking for a controller like this make sure it is FTDI. This item does work for Freestyler just like the ad says. My goal was Vixen

Bought this low priced plasma cutter knowing it did not work! As is DOA

I bought this plasma cutter knowing it did not work. It was sold as parts only. I bought it for the challenge of fixing it. So I did. Powered on OK till you hit the trigger and then it would OC. Was a bit surprised to see only 2 mosfets per bank but it had room for 3 per side. All support parts are in place. I found 1 shorted mosfet so I replaced it. When I hit the trigger same thing OC came on. I found the same part was again the problem or in this case the symptom.. I found a resistor (surface mount) that feeds the mosfet and it had a bad solder connection. That was the cause of the failure. I soldered all the resistors that feed the mosfets. Everything works fine now and it cuts as it should. It is not a miller but then I am no welder. It was fun to fix and fun to cut metal with. .
