Pentel GraphGear 500 Automatic Drafting Pencil Black (PG525A) 0.5mm

Great value, good pencil.

I'm a pen person, so I was hesitant to get a mechanical pencil, but I wanted to give it a try, and I didn't want to spend a lot, but I wanted to try a pencil of decent quality. This one did the trick! The Graphgear 500 is a perfect gateway pencil. It's very affordable, but offers enough quality to scratch the itch of getting into premium pencils. The only downside of this pencil is the very long and pointy tip that does not retract, like the Graphgear 1000. The pocket clip is of good quality though, so I keep it clipped to my pocket and don't have any issues with the point coming through my pocket. The lead feed is smooth and precise, and the pencil feels good in the hand, thanks to the metal knurled grip. It manages to be light, while also offering a tiny bit of heft, thanks to the metal grip. It feels well balanced and works well.

They look great, are extremely comfortable, and extremely durable, and warm. Very good hiking shoes.

These shoes sold for almost half of their listed price! These are incredible! They are very comfortable and feel very well put together. I've already done some hiking in them, and they held up great. The lining is very warm, so maybe not great hot weather shoes. The soles are the most comfortable I've felt from vans ever, and I've been wearing Sk8 hi and MTE for a while now. The grip on the bottom of the shoe is next level. Incredibly grippy, and durable feeling. They even reinforced the common wear points. I can't recommend them enough. The colors are really nice. The only thing I would have liked is a spare set of laces, like I got with my last shoes. The included laces are tough, and a very attractive greenish color, but don't really match many outfits for me. I'm switching to white flat laces.

Very subtle

So far it writes okay. I'm noticing a slight flow issue when I'm writing very quickly, which wasn't there with my previous black ink. It could be my pen, which is a Pilot Metropolitan. I will have to see how things go after a couple of adjustments. The ink is certainly a very black green. The green is very subtle, so much so that most people probably wouldn't notice it unless they looked closely, or if you had a lot of writing, close together. I was looking for something subtle, and this did not disappoint.
